Today Daddy took my sister and me to an antique bookshop nearby. I bought my self three books: The Weekend Book (1929), The Book of Modern Verse (1942) and The Girls of Banshee Castle (1904). My sister bought to Beautiful books, including a lovely, enormous sapphire blue edition of all the Grimm fairy tales. My father found two volumes of a book called The Native People of The World, which as a very young child he had scribbled over, never to be seen again.
Today I also bought birthday cards for two friends and lots of wrapping paper for my brother's birthday...
